Dignitary Protection Group, LLC, a midwest leader in personal protection and training, is conducting a 4 day (50+ hour) certification course in Dignitary Protection. The course covers the fundamental skills and procedures necessary to provide personal protection to dignitaries, officials, executives, witnesses and others in need of protective security.
The program, now expanded to provide even more hands-on experience, is restricted to law enforcement, military and verified security personnel. It is designed to prepare individuals newly assigned to protective security details to carry out their duties, but is also appropriate for experienced protection providers looking for a refresher.

Beware...this is not a vacation! Each day will start promptly at 8:30 A.M. and will continue into the evening. Expect a very long day on Day 3 (Field Training Exercise).

Location & Hotel Information
The course will be held at the newly remodeled Jameson Inn on Indianapolis' west side. It is conveniently located just 10 miles north of the Indianapolis International Airport. This hotel has great amenities including free continental breakfast, in-room microwaves and refrigerators, WiFi internet access, fitness center, swimming pool, satellite television, airport shuttle and much more.
Rooms are available at a very special rate of $69.99 per night. Please mention the "Dignitary Protection Seminar" when making your reservation. The special room rate is only available through March 15, 2011. After that date, the rate increases and the block of rooms is released for general sale.

Certifications
Students who successfully complete the course and score 80% or better throughout the course will earn the Certified Protective Security Specialist-Dignitary Protection (CPSS-DP) designation.
Instructional Materials
Each student will receive a student manual, along with several handouts and forms useful in providing protective security.
Instructors
The course will be taught by DPG staff members. All instructors have years of real-world protection experience in both the public and private sectors. Our instructors have protected business executives, dignitaries, politicians, witnesses, celebrities, athletes, and high net worth individuals and families.
Added Bonus
As an added bonus, those earning the Certified Protective Security Specialist-Dignitary Protection (CPSS-DP) designation will receive their first year membership in the Dignitary Protection Group Alumni Association free.

Refund Policy
Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to a scheduled course start date will provide the student/agency with a 100% refund. Any cancellation within 14 to 1 days prior to a scheduled course start date will result in a 50% refund. No refunds are issued for students failing to show up at a course, or leaving once a course commences.
We understand that emergency circumstances do arise, in which case the tuition(s) may be transferred to another course, at DPG's discretion, if proper notification is made. In some circumstances, verification of the cancellation may be required. In the unforeseen circumstance that DPG must cancel a course, paid registrants will be given the option of a full and immediate refund or a transfer of their paid registration fees to be applied to any other DPG courses(s).
A copy of your active law enforcement, military, or security ID must be provided in order to attend this course. Dignitary Protection Group, LLC reserves the right to deny entry to, or participation in, training programs for any reason.
(A minimum of 6 students is required for this course.)
